• Sharpened Pencils Here!

  Funded Feb 7, 2025

  Thank you so much for helping to bring pencil sharpening alive to our classroom. We have struggled for so long with having to use mini handheld pencil sharpeners due to budget cuts both inside and outside of the classroom.

  My students are so eager now to have these huty duty pencils sharpeners which help them each day have fully sharpened pencils. Also my first graders have sharpened pencils to take home with them to help with completing homework assignment.

  The light inside my students eyes makes me so happy that you were able to bring this great well needed resource into our classroom for this school year and hopefully for many school years in the future.”

• Primary Notebooks and Take-Home Folders Gallore!

  Funded Feb 7, 2025

  My students and their parents are so happy to have this proposal funded! The parents' of my students are excited to have a set of primary notebooks to use at home with their child. I am putting inside different reading, writing, and math anchor charts that students can use at home to help with what is being taught throughout the day.

  Another big win on this proposal is the orange (bring to school and leave at home) folders in English and Spanish. My parents are so happy that these folders are heavy duty for each and everyday transport for their child. The parents are also happy to have a two-sided folder where they know that these papers have to stay home, and these papers are to be returned to school.

• Mo Willems Books Here!

  My room is constantly filled with students who love talking about the books that they are reading. They enjoy sharing books with each other and reading together. Having this type of guided reading texts is really helpful to my students.

  The beautiful picture with reading supports helps to keep students engaged and tuned into what they are reading on an everyday basis.

  My students love being able to have these books both inside the classroom and to take home to continue to read. They are engaged in the stories and love talking about the books that they are reading!”

• Henry and Mudge Story Collection!

  Thank you so much for helping this project get funded! My students were so excited when they received the boxes of books inside our classroom. They were eager to open up the boxes and see the books that were inside.

  Each group of students are now working together to learn more about the characters of Henry and Mudge. Hearing the students talk about the characters together is such a enjoyable time throughout the school day. I am looking forward to sharing the reflections of my students in their Thank you cards for your generosity.”

• Brightness And Action In What We Learned!

  Thank you so much for helping this project to be filled successfully. My students are super excited to be receiving the items purchased so that they can create poster boards on their animal research books.

  They are also in the process of creating different American monuments to celebrate history in our social studies unit. The colored pencils, markers, different types of colored paper are going to be used because of you and your contribution to our classroom proposal.

• Pencils to Help Us Grow!

  Thank you so much for helping to fund this project. Having two working pencil sharpeners inside my classroom has benefited my class both at school and at home. In the morning, I make sure that everyone has two sharpened pencils with them for the day's lessons. At the end of the day. I make sure that each child's backpack has two sharpened pencils to help them complete homework assignments.

  The parents of students are so appreciative of having the pencil sharpeners and pencils in their child's classroom. They have expressed to me how much of a help that has been to them to have when completed homework each night.”
