Funded Oct 23, 2020This year has been challenging for all of us, especially our students. Your donation has had such a positive impact in our 2nd grade classrooms! Here is how your donation has made them feel:
I will be forever grateful for your amazing generosity. The headphones you have helped to purchase for my 2nd grade class have been a life saver. Many of these students are living with many other siblings participating in distance learning and the homes can be very loud. These headphones have helped some of my students that were constantly having to be muted, to be able to participate. The students are also very excited to have a fancy new pair of headphones that is their own. Again, thank you so much for your donation. We could never thank you enough.
Ms. Conran and my 14 very happy 2nd graders”
With gratitude,
Ms. Ricchetti

Funded Oct 23, 2020I am fortunate to work with wonderful teachers in second grade. I chose to do this project for their students and they were extremely grateful! Here is what they had to say:
My students and I truly appreciate your generous donation for our class set of headphones. Since distance learning started, there are many siblings in the home and parents doing work, which makes for more background noise and distractions. The headphones have been a great help. They help the students to focus on what I am saying and block out the background noise. The class is also able to hear who is speaking clearly when students speak into the microphone. Your thoughtfulness is truly making a difference in our virtual classroom. - Ms. Fountain, 2nd Grade Teacher
I knew this year would have a lot of challenges and learning curves to overcome. I did not, however, expect the challenges that my students were facing. They were there to learn but due to circumstances beyond their control they were having difficulties. What has made a difference in the students learning lives was the headphones. These have really helped them be able to listen, cancel out noise from around them and be able to easily answer questions or participate in a discussion with the class. Not only are they able to hear me they are also able to actively participate making their learning experience great. They are always working hard and I cannot tell you how important these are to all my students. Thank you so much for the donation of the headphones. - Thank you, Mr. King's Quannah McCall Elementary 2nd Grade Class!
Thank you for giving our students the tools they need to be successful distance learners!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Ricchetti
