My project is focused on providing students with needed mental health resources and supports to help them be successful at school. Our students are needing a high level of support regarding their social, emotional, and behavioral well being. In order to be able to be successful citizens, students must first know how to respond appropriately to various challenges in their life. My goal is to provide them with a variety of fidgets to meet their individual learning needs and identify coping skills which can generalize across educational settings. My goal is to help students successfully navigate the middle school learning environment. I have included reinforcers to provide students once them complete comprehensive testing for special education eligibility. I have also added a number of workbooks for addressing the mental health concerns (anxiety, depression, ADHD, suicidality) of students. In addition to workbooks, I have selected some parent and teacher resources which I can share with evaluation teams to help develop individualized educational plans (IEPs).
