  Thank you for your generous donations to our Snacks to Succeed project. The students were grateful to have access to snacks to help them to stay focused on academics throughout the school day. I am grateful to have been able to provide snacks such as pop tarts and fruit snacks to them to either get their day started or give them a midday boost to finish the day strong. • Awarding Excellence at LHS

  Funded Jun 21, 2021

  Awarding Excellence at the Newest Address of Excellence has been outstanding. With the items purchased in this project, we were able to award students for academic excellence for more than one school term. The students were excited to have certificates that acknowledged their achievements. They loved that the certificates were placed in nice folders to keep them protected until they were able to frame them.

  It brought joy to my heart to be able to have this project funded and create awards for our scholars. They deserve to be acknowledged for all of their accomplishments, whether it be for Student of the Month or Honor Roll. I look forward to creating more awards to acknowledge our students' success. • Personal Hygiene Essentials

  Funded Sep 26, 2021

  Thank you for contributing to Personal Hygiene Essentials. The items purchased for this project have helped our students to be more confident in their hygiene and focus more on their academics. Both male and female students have benefited from this project. I have had students to stop by for deodorant after they rushed out the house to catch the bus for school. I've also had ladies to stop by for feminine hygiene products throughout the day. I purchased a colorful storage cart to organize the items so it makes it easier for students to find what they need. Some of the student leaders were excited to see the set up and reassured me that students would always need these items. I am grateful for the donors that contributed to this project because you have made life a little easier for unforeseen hygienic circumstances while our students are at school. Thank you so much for making this project happen. I look forward to being able to continue to provide these essential items for our students!”

  I am truly grateful for your donation to the Print, Print, Print project. The printer I received from this project helped me to work more efficiently while helping our students with academic planning. Upon students' request, I have been able to print transcripts, scholarship applications, and flyers that provide opportunities outside of school for our scholars. Students have returned to me with college acceptance letters, scholarship award letters, and overall improvement in their coursework because I was able to print the necessary documents needed in a timely manner. Thank you again for helping me get the necessary equipment needed to help our students plan and prepare for their future.”
