Engaging Non-Fiction

I cannot thank you enough! You have made it possible for all of my students to have their own copy of a colorful, informational/ non fiction text at their level! The students were very excited to receive bags at their homes including these eye-catching and attractive books about the Statue of Liberty, Bees, and other Insects ! I dropped off bags of notebooks, pencils , sticky notes, AND these books. I received messages that day from students thanking me for the books.

The next morning when students logged on to our remote classroom Zoom link, they were so excited about their new books and sharing them with each other. We began reading the books in our small groups that day. What a difference it is for my students to hold a book in their hands instead of reading it online! The students can have that special feeling of the book in their hands, the pleasure of reading the books over and over, and can share the books easily with their families and friends.

Thank you again for your generosity. My students and I so appreciate your action. The students and their families will enjoy the books for a long time.”
