Students need to be provided with multiple ways of approaching mathematics. Approaching mathematics through different lenses is important in order for students to make connections. Students should be able to make conjectures, predictions, and observations. With students learning from various resources this will definitely help even out a little the playing field between those who have and have not. I believe my students deserve to be exposed to mathematics in multiple ways, and they can learn to value their own interpretations by having multiple lenses. It is time mathematics is taught differently in our schools.
