Supplying students with a dry erase marker, dry erase pocket, playdough, and a deck of cards, etc., as simple as they seem, will allow me to create and engage students in active learning. These materials will be used for a number of learning activities in both Math and English and will increase student engagement. It is my ultimate goal that none of my students would lack the supplies needed for them to experience learning in the way they would have otherwise received, in person, in my classroom. The math manipulatives will play many roles in helping my students learn different mathematical concepts. They will also be able to use these manipulatives that interest them in learning math. The best way to increase math ability is to engage in hands on projects more, and these supplies will continue to help my students grow stronger in mathematics.
