I have asked for a variety of sources to help organize and stock a first year teacher's classroom. Even though beginning in the middle of a pandemic has been challenging, my students have not lost their love for reading. With all of the chaos happening in their worlds, I want to focus on their emotional needs as well as academic. My goal is for them to become the best little humans they can be- for themselves and for others. As a teacher I want to build their excitement and love for reading by providing them with all of the supplies that they need. These supplies will help both the students and me as teacher. The headphones will be used by the students to independently work on their laptops like read aloud, videos and activities. The speaker will be used so that the entire class can hear the videos and lessons I present. The stand up desk will help me to be flexible and teach in front of the classroom with my supplies ready and waiting. The rest of the items will be used to prepare for lessons and organize a classroom full of 17 messy students.
