  Thank you so much for your generous donation. The Trauma, Mental Health, and Academic Achievement project has already made a significant difference in my students' lives. By addressing the effects of trauma and mental health challenges, it supports both their learning and overall well-being. In the classroom, the project has enhanced student performance by fostering a supportive atmosphere, offering access to counseling, and equipping students with coping strategies that ease stress and improve concentration. Beyond the classroom, the books provided through the project are helping students build emotional resilience, strengthen relationships with peers and family, and boost their self-confidence—enabling them to grow socially, personally, and academically. A few teachers have also turned to these resources for support. Overall, this project is having a meaningful impact on both my classroom and the broader school community. • Key Tools for Reading Science

Students are enjoying the science-of-reading tools, which are having a positive impact on classroom learning by providing hands-on practice that strengthens key reading skills. Word-building charts and phonics tiles help students understand phonics rules and blend sounds, while posters reinforce literacy concepts visually and serve as quick references. CVC objects make word decoding fun for young learners, and dry-erase lapboards with magnetic letters offer interactive spelling, phonics, and word recognition practice, making learning active and memorable. Together, these tools are making foundational reading concepts clearer, more engaging, and accessible to all students. Thanks again for your support!”

• Translators for Translaguaging

  Thank you so much for your generous donation! The language translators are making an incredible difference for my English Language Learner (ELL) students. With real-time translations of lessons, they can grasp the content in their native languages while steadily improving their English skills. What excites the students most is the immediate access to material they can understand, making learning more engaging and helping them take a more active role in class discussions. My students who speak French, Spanish, and Amharic are benefiting significantly, as the translators are helping to break down language barriers and build their confidence in both comprehension and communication.

The Reading Intervention Tools, including flashcards, the Vowel Owls Sorting Set, word recognition aids, and student workbooks, are making a significant impact by supporting students at various reading levels. These resources are helping to improve comprehension, vocabulary, and fluency, making reading more accessible to students with different learning styles. They also make learning more enjoyable by allowing students to engage with texts in ways that suit their needs through hands on and interactive features.

  The reading intervention program has been progressing well, with great attendance. Students are excited about it, and it's making learning to read both easier and more fun.”

Now, students can listen to podcasts at their own pace, whether they're at home, on the metro, or while walking, which allows them to fit learning into their daily routines. This has reinforced what they learn in class, helping them to better understand and retain the material. For those who learn better by listening than by reading, podcasts are offering a valuable alternative way to absorb information.
