Now that we are back to in-person teaching, I believe that these materials will benefit students' creative learning process in a science classroom. There are studies that show that the environment in which students study and learn has a greater impact when students feel comfortable. When you think of science classrooms, one of the first images that come to mind is a sterile environment. I'd like to make it feel more welcoming, and create an enjoyable learning experience for my high school students. English and art classrooms are usually those who have more fun seating options, but the items I've included in my project would have a similar effect in my science classroom.
