These materials will enhance my students' learning. Using different materials will increase their skills and solidify their learning. A lot of my students are low functioning, and general academics are difficult for them. Using alternative materials can increase their learning. As my students are in the special education program, their learning can take time and patience. As my students cannot communicate in the natural sense, using sensory items can increase self-regulation and help with coping mechanisms. All of my students are unique in their learning, so having a variety of materials to encourage their learning is important.
