Since we are in virtual learning communities due to the lock down, many of our students do not have access to travel out to the Blick store in Washington DC to buy supplies and sometimes parents are unable to accommodate the expense of art materials. Lock down has been an interesting time for students. We study art as a form of communication. The visual arts is a successful vehicle of self-expression, communication and persuasion. Students are creating a digital file that includes each piece of work, being expressions of the days of our lives in these times of complexities.
