Thank you so much for fully funding my very first Donors Choose project! My portable monitor has been a game changer. I am now able to see my entire class all at once on Zoom. My students are participating more because I am able to see them raise their virtual or real hand immediately and I'm able to call on them right away. The portable monitor has positively impacted all of my students as well as my daily instruction. In addition, my needy student loves his wireless mouse! He says he can now move the cursor faster and finish tasks quicker. Finally, I am able to organize my students grades in the grade book and will be available for my students to view. I want to make sure that my students know the importance of having the chance to vote and having their voice heard. We have adopted Benchmark Education. Our first unit is called "Government for the People." In third grade, students read and compare selections about people working to make changes to the government. We need a portable monitor to view different videos of perspectives regarding voting and to view students on Zoom. The portable monitor can allow me to see both breakout rooms making sure that students are engaged and participating. Some of my students currently use a wireless mouse and I would like to give it to a student who struggles financially. The wireless mouse will greatly help this student access websites with ease. Lastly, the gradebook will be used to keep my student's grades organized and will be available for their viewing.
