We Have Ants in Our Pants!
Funded Oct 23, 2023Thank you so much for your donation! The students will be so excited to use all the recess toys. They won't have to take turns using our one wobble seat anymore! And Mrs. Reed and I will be super happy to have some quiet fidgets so students can channel their energy safely! We appreciate all you do!”

Keep Us Organized!
Funded Mar 31, 2021Thank you so much to your contributions to the project Keep Us Organized. Thanks to your donations, the chair pockets that were purchased helped the end of the year last year go way more smoothly than it would've without them. When students saw the materials, they couldn't believe their eyes! They were extremely excited at the thought of not having to drag their materials bins over to their desks anymore and could just turn around to grab what they needed from the back of their chairs. The students organized their materials in these chair pockets with care, placing their Fundations materials, book bags, pencil boxes, and more into each pocket. Your donation to this project put a smile on the students' faces and made classroom transitions much easier!”

Books, Books, Books!
Funded Apr 1, 2021Thank you so much for your donation of all these wonderful books to the second grade classroom at EGS. The students were so excited when they saw them. They couldn't wait to dive into the new adventures of Jack and Annie and the magic tree house or discover the science behind who would win in a fight between a wasp and a hornet. Not only did these books get students excited about reading, they added more depth to the classroom library. Students had more books to choose from, and newer books, as some of the books in the library were over twenty years old, some had pages falling out --> they were well loved. Your donation to the project Books, Books, Books will instill a love of reading in second graders for years to come!”

Safety Is Key
Funded Oct 15, 2020When students first saw the whisper phones that were ordered, they were so excited to try them out! Not many students had used them before, and new things always spark an interest. Students keep these whisper phones in their book bags and are able to use them during their independent reading time. It is so helpful for students that are learning to read, especially in first and second grade, to have these whisper phones. When learning to read, saying words out loud greatly helps students to comprehend and sound out new words!
The air filter has been a lifesaver during these crazy pandemic times. I as the teacher am so thankful that my students are as safe as we possibly can be in the classroom, thanks to your donations!”
