We meet online on Fridays, uniting our separate sections and full remote students only once each week. This is a huge change in the amount of time we might typically spend together. A 2nd teacher computer screen will allow me to see EACH of my students' faces while I share demos to their screens from my other screen. Being seen, and known, is so much a part of teaching and learning, that I worry my students feel invisible when I share my single screen to talk them through an assignment, while I can't see their faces for signs of engagement, confusion, or boredom.
