  • Wheel of Learning!

    Funded Oct 23, 2020

The spinning wheel has brought so much joy and excitement to our learning environment!! We use the wheel to match numbers , match letters, and to build CVC words! When we take the wheel out to use my students get so excited ! They are fully engaged as they take turns spinning the wheel! Thank you so much for giving my students this amazing learning experience. Watching their faces light up as the wheel spins is the highlight of my day as a teacher. I can't wait to create so many lessons that incorporate our wheel of learning!”

  • We Like to Move It!

    Funded Oct 28, 2021

These items have made a huge impact for our students! We use the slant board each day when teaching students how to write. The slant boards allow student work to be closer to their eyes and allow them to focus on their work. The bean bags are used during math and have helped my students move while learning! We use the bean bags for counting and one-one correspondence. They have so much fun taking turns throwing the bean bags into a basket while counting up to ten. They enjoy using the flexible seating in the classroom. Thank you for giving my students these items. I'm so happy to see their faces light up when they engage in these amazing sensory experiences!!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Wirchin

Slant boards are used In a special education, or general education classroom, for students who need help focusing. These boards allow the papers or other materials on their desk to be raised towards eye level. The students attend to task and can see the materials closer. Schedule pocket charts allow students to understand their flow of the day and what is happening next. These classroom materials are greatly needed within the special education population. Students will be more focused and ready to learn. With your help my students will have a successful year!
