  • Art in Pre K

    Funded Nov 15, 2021

I would like to say thank you for your donations to my classroom. My students and I truly appreciate your generosity. Because of you my students were able to have new paint in the art center. And now they can use the new paint brushes to create more art. We were able to make Christmas ornaments for Christmas. The class will making slime soon with the glue. My students love the new aprons that they wear in the art center. And I would just like to say we excited about our new art supplies and thank you again.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Vaughn

  • Keeping It Cool, While In School!

    Funded Nov 15, 2021

I would like to say thank you for your donations to my classroom. My students and I truly appreciate your generosity. Because of you my students were able to have hot cocoa on those cold days. And now they can eat their lunch warm instead of eating it cold because we have a microwave in the classroom. We were able to eat popcorn on movie day. My students can now have cold water after recess and cool juice during snack. We can also keep our fruits and vegetables cool on snack days because of you guys donating and helping us get a refrigerator to keep everything cool.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Vaughn

  • Pre K Printing

    Funded Dec 12, 2020

Thank you for your donations to my classroom for our color printer. By having a color printer in the classroom my students have been able to have more worksheets to work on in the classroom and at home to practice with as well. My student that are still learning how to write their names are now able to practice their name writing at home. My students are excited to have papers with color on them now. Being able to see papers with color ink is exciting for young students.

I would like to say that I am truly grateful for the printer that has been donated to my classroom.”

  • Keeping Our Area Clean

    Funded Nov 14, 2020

I am truly grateful for the donations that you made to my classroom and students. Your donations made it possible for my students to have the resources that they need to keep their area and hands clean. And the cleaning products has made it possible for me to do so while my students are learning. The soap is used to wash our hands before and after breakfast and lunch. My assistant and I use the gloves to wipe down the desks before and after school each day, and after breakfast and lunch. And if a student does not feel well we can check their temperatures in the classroom to make sure they do not have a fever.

The students also use the wipes to wipe off their tables and chairs. And the hand sanitizer is used after recess before entering back into the classroom. The Microban is used for disinfecting also. When my students saw their masks they were excited to get them. And the masks are a big help with keeping their faced covered throughout the day when needed. I will continue "keeping our area clean", which is my classroom. This project has helped me to teach my students about washing their hands, keeping their area clean and staying safe.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Vaughn

If my project is fully funded I will be able to print in my classroom. I will be able to have available handouts for my students in the classroom. I will also be able to send handouts and practice sheets home for homework. I am teaching my kid’s how to write their names. This is an activity we do every morning after breakfast. I need a lot of paper and ink along with a working printer to send papers home for my students to do their homework this will help our class out in so many ways.
