My class and I truly appreciate the donations that were given to my class! Daily, the students are supposed to log into their laptops to go to the digital resources. These headphones has enabled them to hear only their computer so that they can focus and give the program they are on their undivided attention. Another activity the students enjoy is practicing spelling words with the whiteboards. These donations made it possible for everyone to have their own instead of sharing! The kids really enjoyed writing on these boards; handwriting, phonics, and sight word practice. I work in an area where resources are limited and some families can't afford the luxuries of headphones, whiteboards, dry erase markers, cardstock, etc. Donors Choose has made it possible for everyone to have a chance to succeed and be great within the classroom!”

There's a lot of instruction that will be done via laptops. Focusing is an important tool in learning and obtaining information. Headphones can make a difference in the students' learning by helping to focus on the material in front of them with limited distractions from outside noise. Gone are the days when kids would put their whole mouth on the water fountains by the restroom. In these times, it's simply not safe! The water bottles are safety precautions that the school is implementing to help all students stay safe and hydrated.
