  • Safe Space

    Thank you again for the donations that allowed us to purchase the materials needed for the "Safe Space" project. These movable walls have helped re-create learning and break areas throughout our classroom and have thus supported the students in our self-contained, Special Education classes. Our students have specific needs and these materials have specifically helped children with their focus, self-regulation and anxiety. It is important that each one of our students feel supported and heard.

    When our students first saw the moveable walls, they were very curious. As we began to use them to help create small-group learning areas and break areas, the students were excited. When it is time to put these walls away, they tuck away easily and do not take up much room, which is great!

  • Materials to Help Students Returning to In-Person Schooling

    These materials have helped my students have the hands-on tools and visuals they need to best support their understanding of the curriculum. The printed visuals help with communicating student needs and wants as well as classroom expectations. I could not have created these supports without the materials donated so thank you very much!

    The students were excited that each of them received their own daily schedule and choice board with visuals, in color, and laminated for durability. Due to COVID19 Safety protocols, we cant share materials so these items were exactly what we needed. The ink and lamination sheets that were donated made this project possible.”

  • Printed Materials to Support at Home Learning

    Thank you again for the items you helped provide for my students! As a Special Education staff we were able to print worksheets, support materials and art kits so that students could have plenty items to do during remote learning. My students vary in their learning needs and the paper and ink provided allowed us to print many different versions of the same lesson so each student could access it and learn. Some of my students require visual aids and graphic organizers to support their learning. These materials would not be available without the ink and paper provided so we, as a special education staff, could create them. Thank you again!”

My students learn and demonstrate their learning the best when they have printed materials on which to work. This includes printed worksheets where they can write and/or cut out items, stories to read, comprehension questions that go with the stories, visuals to support students who are learning to read, art project templates and visual schedules to help support our class routine and expectations.
