As a special education teacher, it is essential that I provide my students with the necessary tools to meet their individualized educational goals. Providing each student with their own iPad will not only meet social distancing guidelines, but also, drastically increase student productivity. Through the use of technology, I will be able to differentiate instruction to target students' specific learning needs. iPads will be used in a multi-modal curriculum across all domains. The touch screens will allow my students to directly interact with the material for each subject. These iPads will be used to assist my students in communicating effectively and beginning to read. Adapted books and activities such as Boom Cards on the iPad, will allow my students to interact with the material with supportive visuals.
