Funded Dec 10, 2020Again, we would like to thank you for your donation to our school. The kids are having a great time using the Storyworks passages. During this difficult time, they have not had access to actual books. Due to possible cross-contamination and safety protocol, the kids are relying solely on online sources, worksheets, or their individual workbooks.
The resources made for the instruction of schools are often dry and uninteresting. The passages are meant to teach skills and are often outdated and unrelatable. However, being able to incorporate Storyworks into our programming has dramatically helped the children become more engaged in lessons! The stories and passages are CURRENT and very entertaining. They love reading the plays and checking out the debates that come with each issue.
My favorite part of this program is that it reaches all of my learners. Storyworks has tailored their passages for ON LEVEL and LOWER LEVEL readers. All of the students get the same content however, it is written in vocabulary that each group would understand better. It is helpful and it has also made my life much easier!”
