Reading and listening to books will increase their knowledge, experience and empathy. Learning about other cultures will strengthen relationships and understanding. Providing our students greater access to books will help them be more prepared to understand the world they live in and how to make the world a better place to live. Reading can empower students to see the good around them and look for ways to increase that goodness.
