In Ag Power and Machinery, my students and I are generally out in the shop at a minimum of three days a week. The materials I've selected are much needed and will replace our old outdated and worn out Personal Protective Equipment. The safety glasses are one of the most important pieces of PPE we use in our shop because no matter what we are doing in the shop, I require my students to wear safety glasses. The reason we need new safety glasses is because our old ones are currently scratched up and when they become scratched it gets harder and harder to see out of them. The welding helmets we have in the shop now are also getting a little age on them. The Yeswelder helmets will be a much needed and excellent upgrade. The welding gloves that we currently have in the shop are getting worn out so much that some have holes in them and can no longer be used by students when welding. The new welding gloves will replace the old gloves with holes and help students practice welding safely. When welding, sparks are generally flying everywhere. That is why it is very important to were all the ppe listed along with skullcaps or welding caps. The welding caps I've chosen is a one size fits all because these caps will be worn for the protection of all of my students when they are in the welding booth. Thank you for any help we may receive for upgraded equipment.
