During this fall of the pandemic of 2020, we are currently providing in-school lessons for our students, however field trips are not allowed this yea. Even before the pandemic we have found that there are only a handful of places close enough for us to visit given our rural location. These virtual field trips will inspire students and take them to far away places we could only dream of going to before. And they will be used for year after the pandemic. For example, our 5th and 6th grade will be learning about ancient civilizations. With these virtual reality headsets we can go and visit the Great Pyramids, the Colosseum, and the Great Wall of China. These headsets will provide experiences the students will never forget.
