Time To Get Creative!
Funded Sep 4, 2022Thank you so much for giving from your hearts. My students enjoy working with the supplies that was donated to our classroom. The skin tone paper, crayons and markers bring their artwork to life. They enjoy finding colors in a box that match their skin color. One students stated " I never can find a color that looks like me, I am so happy to have colors that match me and my family members!" That made my day. We do a lot of "All about me" projects so now my students are really able to connect with their art work and be proud of it!”

Creative Self Expression
Funded Nov 25, 2021Thank you so much for helping to fund this project! My students were so happy when I told them that we were going to get the needed supplies.
We have been able to create many great projects so far. The children really enjoyed working on our Black History project. Each classroom in my school had to study a black inventor. As a class we decided to work on Augustus Jackson. He is know as the father of ice cream. Students worked together to design our display board for the school wide exhibit. They were able to make small ice cream cones and create different designs for the project.
We are getting ready for graduation. Students are looking forward to creating many different projects for graduation.”

Virtual Learning Rockstars
Funded Oct 17, 2020Words can't describe how this project has really helped me make this difficult year a bit easier for my students. My students were super excited to receive their new materials. Even the parents were so appreciative as well.
My students get to use the resources often, especially the writing tool. Most of my students are working on their iPads daily due to being remote. The stylus allow them to be able to practice their writing skills daily. Which is extremely helpful in Kindergarten!
Student also really enjoy the document reader. It allows for them to see the material clearly on their screen. A parent shared that "it feels like the book is really right in front of them".
I truly can't thank all of the donors enough for helping to bring some extra sunshine to my classroom.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Ayinla
