My students will use these books to learn about the hardships of other cultures and communities during World War 2. The books will be available to students who are blended, virtual, as well as traditional students.
Diverse books foster discussion of topics such as discrimination and equality. These discussions take place in person as well as virtually, including all learners equally. They allow students to express themselves through writing on topics they may never have considered. The lessons they learn through this reading will stay with them throughout their life!
