  • iPad for First Grade!

    Thank you so much for donating to our classroom and my fabulous students! More than ever technology is a leading component of our education. With distance learning and telecommuting from home, it was difficult to see all my students while sharing my computer screen with them. I am able to use this as a second monitor to call on all of students who are eager to participate and see them all at once. Receiving this IPad has been life saving during this crazy year of virtual learning for my students and as an educator!”

    This classroom project was brought to life by Someone Who Loves Southern Nevada Students and 3 other donors.
In my classroom, I will use this technology in multiple ways. During distance learning, it will help as a second monitor, a projection system, and an overall tool. When students return to school, they will utilize the iPad for reading and math centers, typing practice, AR quizzes, Seesaw, and so much more. The iPad will be instrumental in differentiation and personalizing instruction for my students. As a first year educator I am in need of technology devices for my classroom. It is my job to get them excited. Once I have that, they are ready to learn!

About my class
