Help My Students Excel in Algebra with Essential Supplies
Funded Nov 13, 2024This donation has allow more students to have access to the math work. Many student had to borrow loose pieces of paper and could not keep track of their notes or assignments. Thanks to your donations my students have a designated area for their math work. Students also do not have to worry about the financial burden of purchasing their own graphing calculator. With your donation students can visualize graphs with color to have a true understanding of the math work. Thank you for providing these essentials for my students.”

Funded Sep 30, 2024Thank you so much for your incredible support of my project, Tools for All Styles of Learners. Because of your generosity, my students now have access to a tablet and a mobile whiteboard, which have significantly enhanced their learning experience. These tools have made a world of difference in meeting the diverse needs of my classroom and ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed.
The tablet has been especially beneficial for my English Language Learners (ELLs), who can now use it to translate worksheets and clarify instructions, giving them greater independence and confidence in their learning. It has also become a valuable tool for students who feel more comfortable typing than writing on paper, enabling them to express their ideas more effectively. Meanwhile, the mobile whiteboard has transformed how we approach small-group instruction. Tutors can now work closely with small groups, breaking down lessons in a way that feels personalized and less intimidating than addressing the entire class.
One student has truly thrived thanks to these new resources. She's an ELL student who struggled with understanding instructions in the past but now uses the tablet to translate and ask insightful questions about her work. Similarly, my student-led tutoring sessions have become much more effective; who typically shy away from participating in whole-class discussions, have embraced the opportunity to engage more actively in small groups using the mobile whiteboard. Your support has given these students the tools and confidence they need to excel.
Thank you for making such a lasting impact on our classroom!”

Funded Sep 11, 2024Thank you so much for your generous support of my project, Calculators for Students in Need. With your help, my students now have access to brand-new TI-84 Plus CE calculators, a game-changing resource for their math education. These calculators are a tremendous upgrade, allowing students to engage more deeply with the material, especially as they tackle challenging topics like graphing functions, solving equations, and analyzing data. For many of my students, financial barriers meant they couldn't have access to this critical tool at home or in class, and your contributions have removed that obstacle, empowering them to succeed.
One of the features my students are most excited about is the ability to graph in color. It has completely transformed the way they visualize and interact with graphs. For instance, when working on systems of equations, the ability to assign different colors to each line has made it much easier for students to see points of intersection and understand the relationships between equations. Several of my students, who had previously struggled to grasp these concepts, have remarked how much clearer and more engaging the graphs are now.
One student in particular shared that she feels "more confident in math" because the color graphs help her make fewer mistakes when interpreting problems. Another student used to shy away from participating in class, but now he's one of the first to volunteer when we're analyzing graphs together. These calculators are not just tools—they're confidence-builders, and they're helping my students unlock their potential in ways that wouldn't have been possible without your support.
Thank you again for making such a meaningful difference in my classroom!”
