  • STEM Concepts for Mechatronics

    Thanks for your help and support. My students return to in person instruction and unfortunately our smartboard did not work. Our computers assigned for the class did not meet the demand. In fact, the equipment donated helped us start our projects in class.

    My students felt really happy when they saw the new equipment in the class. One student said " Professor, we finally have a projector, 3 D printer and computers to see our projects in real life". Thanks to your contribution we were able to have some kids from my class explaining projects to my Advanced Manufacturing Advisory Meetings. As a result, I was able to get a couple of classes from an Engineering Post Secondary School to allow me to teach to my senior class. My seniors who dream to get into NJIT were so happy to hear about the upcoming classes to my program.”

My students will be able to print door stoppers, pen holders, key chains, hall passes, usb outlet covers, mugs to collect funds to support the Skills USA West Side Chapter and to improve their engineering design skills. Last year we did not have enough funds for uniforms and we had to attend to an event of Skills USA as the only school with no uniform. It is heartbreaking to see other kids with uniform and the kids from my school wondering why we can not afford uniforms. The 3D printer will help my kids to see their designs printed before any competition or event outside the school.

About my class
