(mini) Classroom Renovation!
Funded Sep 3, 2022This project turned out much differently than imagined due to many supplies having to change due to supply shortages, but it worked out so amazing! The biggest impact was actually from the purchase of a ton of whiteboard markers and erasers. I was able to provide these at every single one of my whiteboard tables so students had immediate access. Throughout the year they got more comfortable with this and began grabbing them to explain something quickly to a partner. The black saucer chair was used often in our calming corner, and the fake grass helped make the environment a little more fun. I have had a couple of students really wanting to get to painting the walls so we will see if there's time this summer for them to help out- it's a big project!
Thank you for your generosity in helping me make this classroom a more welcoming environment.”

Funded Sep 27, 2020So much has changed since your gift was made. Our students came back in March for hybrid learning. Thanks to your generous donations, my classroom was a welcoming space for students to enter back into in-person learning. I wish you could have seen their faces when they walked in and saw all the comfy seating options!
Students had their choice of yoga balls, saucer chairs, wobble chairs, spinning chairs, and even bean bags! (The saucer chairs were a huge hit)
With plans for all students to come back in person at the start of next year, these materials will be well-loved for years to come.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Pacheco
