All of my students enjoy learning through videos and/or other types of technology. The Apple iPad will be utilized to record and create my Counseling videos for the students. In these videos, I will be teaching students about showing respect, goal-setting, good hygiene, expectations for behavior and academics, bullying, career exploration, announce upcoming events, announce upcoming tests and test-taking tips, announce important reminders for students and parents, weekly character education words, etc. The Apple iPad will also be used for our PBIS program. PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. I will be making iMovies in order to show students the wrong and right ways to behave at school. The videos will include the teachers acting as students in order to teach students the right and wrong behaviors to exhibit in the restroom, at learning centers, in the cafeteria, at the computer station, in the hallways, etc. Since some students will be virtual and some will be face-to-face, I would also include scenes pertaining to the wrong and right behaviors while virtual. The iMovies would also be a great way to teach students about COVID-19 and how to prevent spreading germs.
