Pencil Cases and a Laminator to Make It Special!
Funded Oct 23, 2020Thank you so much for the laminator and the pencil boxes!
The students love to stay organized by having their own pencil box to store their crayons, markers, and colored pencils. They were so excited when we first gave it to them! We also wrote their name on their box so that they would know it is theirs to keep. It is so nice to be able to give them something special, just for them, during this unprecedented time.
I also love my laminator, and I am getting a lot of use out of it. I am able to laminate the tools and charts that I make for the students so that they do not get ruined.
We all really appreciate your very generous gift!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Harris

Funded Oct 22, 2020Thank you so much again for donating Time for Kids to our classroom. The kids absolutely love reading about all the current events, science articles, and about our world.
The digital subscription is especially helpful during these times. It is difficult for parents to find enough reading materials for their children to read at home. Time for Kids is a great nonfiction reading option that they can access directly off of Google Classroom.
I love when the students are so excited about an article that they read, and they tell me all about it. I feel that this magazine helps foster a child's love of reading as well as the good reading habits that will help them grow as readers.”

Funded Oct 5, 2020I want to thank you so much again for giving these wonderful gifts to our classroom. The wireless microphone headset and the eMeet conference speaker have been essential assets in making live streaming in the classroom effective.
The headset has helped preserve my voice. I no longer feel the need to yell so that the students learning from home can hear me over the computer. Before the headset, I would often lose my voice by Friday! Now, this no longer happens.
The eMeet conference speaker has helped make three different cohorts of students feel as one. Through the speaker, the students in the classroom are able to hear the students at home very clearly. When we are having class discussions, if I walk around with the eMeet, the students at home can hear the students in the classroom. It sounds like one big discussion rather than me repeating everything the students in the classroom say so that the kids at home can hear it. I think this is what is most exciting to the students!
So thank you again. Class 1-312 truly appreciates it!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Harris
