I have students often ask for certain books and reading materials to use during free time and during reading time. Students deserve access to high interest reading texts and this project is geared towards funding that. Our students do not have many books and reading materials at home and I would like to provide them with materials to enjoy when they are in school. I would also like students to be able to take reading materials home to enjoy while they are away from the classroom. This project will encourage students to read more and to embrace leisure reading.
