My students create video announcements for our school. Before March, they did this on a daily basis with two green screens, iPads, and using web-based editing software. Countless hours are created to get the video ready for YouTube. However, since virtual learning began, my student anchors have worked overtime to bring the same quality announcements with half the materials they need. Having these green screens for the students will drastically help them understand the methods behind Broadcast Journalism and give them privacy to film without showing their background. The green screens will also be easy to set up so students can easily take them on and off for class.
