  • Digital Resources + Document Camera = Success

    Thank you for donating a document camera. This past school year I was remote teaching and having the access to a document camera allowed my students have a better understanding of the content being taught. They were able to see how to handle a book by seeing me point to the words and turn the page. In addition, during writer's workshop, they were able to see how to write a story based on the examples shown using the camera. The work was clearly illustrated for them like it would be in a typical classroom.

    In addition, having access to purchase various items on Teacher's Pay Teachers with the generous gift cards allowed me to purchase material that was easy for my students to manipulative. I bought various materials for word work and mathematics that my students enjoyed completing during their independent work time.

I am always looking at new creative ways to deliver my lesson and fun classroom activities. These Teachers Pay Teachers resources will help enhance my students reading, writing, and math skills. These digital resources will also help cut down on the time to plan for my students. I am also requesting a document camera to give my students the ability to see the text clearly from anywhere in the classroom, which is important for comprehension and understanding. The document camera will replace the need for handouts and it will help save paper.
