Our students have little access to books outside of school; currently, our school has no library. All of our students are in special education for a combination of behavioral/emotional disabilities and many have learning disabilities. Books will fill our library with engaging materials that also represent various cultures, families, backgrounds, and interests. We try to help our students not only graduate but also to learn skills to obtain jobs or training after our school. Students have been involved in all aspects of creating a library and will run the library including setting up managing, and valuable customer service skills.

About my class
