Your constant support is amazing and as always we will continue to be grateful not just for the donation but the fact that you care about students. In our current world, we need more than ever, people who care about educators and their message and people who want to build community with us be it through donations or speaking with us.

  • Periodic Table Mastering

    Funded Oct 10, 2023

Through your continuous help and support we were able to obtain a big periodic table to learn and practice basic chemistry in my 7th grade honors class. As well, the other supplies that your graceful donation allowed to purchase were used to their full extent and potential.

The kids were able to benefit from having the table and used it plenty times as a backup to their paper periodic table.

It became a staple in the classroom while we were learning chemistry so much that students asked where it went by the time we had moved to a new set of topics.

I'm glad that I will get to use this material with upcoming classes!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Millan

The resources and materials that your donation will provide are invaluable. They will enhance our learning environment and enable us to explore new opportunities for growth and discovery. Your generosity is helping to empower young minds and shape the future of our students.

Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your unwavering support. Your kindness has touched our lives, and we are immensely grateful for it.”

  • Science Class Has Fun!

    Funded Nov 30, 2022

With your donation, I was able to get science kits and research game kits for my students and I was able to design a competition for them to get as prizes based on their testing scores or accomplishments.

With your continuous support, you are helping me, a teacher, show my students that science is fun and something achievable instead of something that the kids only see on paper.

We have also used your generous donation to provide them with snacks and other necessities so that when they come to class, they can be fully focused on their class and can still find comfort and fun within the classroom.”

  • Let's Build a Fun, Science Savvy Classroom

    Funded Nov 29, 2022

Thank you for your continuous support and generous donations. Every click, share, and donation helped me build a great classroom where technology is a priority and I am able to provide tools like an iPad if students have forgotten their district-issued device at home or if it is broken, or any other reasons why they might not be able to complete their work at the same pace as other students.

With the help provided my students are able to focus better, fulfilling activities, and then have fun stuff like LEGOs or board games to get time off and let their imaginations run.

Thank you again! I hope you have a wonderful day!”

    With gratitude,

  • Reading About Science in Middle School

    Funded Sep 19, 2022

My science classroom was needing a revamp and what better way to teach students to use their imagination than by reading about science. With your generous support and donations, we received enough copies of various kid-friendly science books to build a small library that the kids are able to use whenever they finish their lesson. The books provided are also great additions to their lessons, as they are able to research more on the topics that interest them and then have wonderful conversations with me or their peers.

One more time, thank you so much for your generous support and continuous efforts to help children grow realizing that science is fun and interactive!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Millan

  • Self Care and Classroom Tools

    Funded Mar 25, 2022

This project started as a simple idea during a discussion with the coworker whom I shared the resources with. We agreed that it would be nice to provide the materials that we requested but thought it was a long shot that this project would be fulfilled in time and we were ready to get the project completed during the next school year; surprisingly, the project was fulfilled before then and we were able to actually create the space our classes needed. I can't express enough how valuable being able to provide these materials is, it may seem simple but now I'm sure that students value having something like this and they are able to actually build confidence in themselves.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Millan

This classroom project was brought to life by State Farm.
  • Safety, Fun and Learning During an Ongoing Pandemic

    Funded Dec 9, 2021

Thank you for your generous contribution to our project. The supplies we received will guarantee that students can learn in a safe, clean environment. The project could have not been fulfilled at a better time, given the current conditions of education throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

Aside from cleaning supplies, we also received backpacks, binders and materials that were long needed by students. We are able to provide these materials for children who have been struggling to obtain said supplies since the beginning of the year.

As an educator and knowing that a lot of my colleagues are also struggling this year, I was also able to share some of the materials received so that they can also ensure their students get to have a safe space where to learn.

Your generosity is key to the success of our classroom. I am so grateful for the support of our donors and volunteers. Thank you for helping us keep our class strong and safe!"”

    Ms. Millan

If you go through this wish list, you'll notice that most of the stuff we're asking for is cleaning supplies and PPE. There's not a lot of commodities or unnecessary stuff in this list. With the ongoing pandemic, Delta variant, which are affecting children at a higher rate and being in a state where online learning has not been an option again, it is of the utmost importance to me, as a teacher, to make sure my students have a fun, safe and clean space in which they can forget about reality for a while and enjoy diving into the world of science. This pandemic is not the first thing that my students have had to face in the past years. We have had enough unfortunate events for a lifetime. In my past years working at this school we had a tornado, flash floods, a fire and gas explosions. That's a lot for 12 year olds. Please help me help these brilliant kids who need to be given a chance.
