  • Mrs. Steele's Littles Need Headphones!

    Thank you SO very much for your generous donation to my littles of headphones. They were SO excited when we got the box, they knew exactly what it was. They have loved being able to work in centers on tablets and not have to have the volume way down to not disturb their neighbor or have to not know what's going on because of the other noise in the room. One student said they had never had headphones before and was freaking out! They were so happy!

  • Mrs. Steele's Little's Need More Sound!

    Thank you so much for providing the funds for our classroom speaker. You'll never know how much a simple, good quality bluetooth speaker means to us. We are able to do our smartboard activities with ease, everyone can HEAR! Yay!!! For pre-k kiddos, we sing and dance SO much, we use songs and videos to learn all kinds of skills, we are able to listen too books online, and your donation helped make all of this even more possible! The kids were SO excited when they saw the box had come in because they were anticipating its arrival! We appreciate you so very much!”

I teach HeadStart at a Title 1 district in East Texas. I have a SmartBoard in my room that is connected to a computer system that I use all day every day. This board does not have a speaker directly hooked up to it so I have been using my personal Bluetooth speaker for anything we do on the board that involves sound. With 4-year-olds, that involves songs for learning letters, numbers, words, and everything in between. It also involves many moving brain breaks throughout the day and music for transitions. Our Region that services HeadStart provided us with the only speakers they have but they simply weren't loud at all. I would like a Bluetooth speaker that would be specifically for our class so I do not have to wear out my personal speaker and transport it from school to home as I use it in both locations regularly. I know this seems trivial, but it is such an important asset to our daily routines! Thanks so much in advance! :)
