A Little Privacy Please!
Funded Feb 24, 2023Thank you so much for funding our privacy boards. We have been able to use them on several occasions so far and they have really helped my students maintain their focus during assessments and sometimes when completing independent work. Also, there was an unexpected surprise. I have a couple of children that are extremely restless and have a difficult time exercising self control. They are distracted easily and we talk about trying to maintain focus often. They enjoy having a board and have started asking to use them. It's satisfying to see that they are self aware, realizing that they're not doing what they need to do and are taking action on their own to change that.”

Funded Sep 20, 2022Thank you so much for your printer ink and paper donation to my classroom. I am an ELA teacher and I use these supplies for my classes every single day. The students are working at all different levels so I'm able to print out differentiated materials anytime I need which is so important for my language learners. This year we are working hard on vocabulary so I was able to create a word wall for each student. Each child got to pick the color paper for their word wall and they were very happy about that. I've also been able to print out games that reinforce ELA concepts that are all color coded. All of this is done on a daily basis thanks to you! We appreciate it very much.”

Funded May 3, 2021Your extremely generous donation literally saved the end of the school year for me. My old Mac, which was on its last legs already, stopped powering on. Many of the things I've been able to create and print on the paper YOU also funded were all made on the Mac you funded. I'm so appreciative of your generosity and the kids love that we have a brand new Mac in the classroom.
It is literally impossible to get through school in this day and age without a high quality computer. Technology is the way of the future. Wether we like it or not, we have all been forced to rely on devices in the classroom and be prepared to teach remotely from home with hardly any notice to prepare, making tools such as this Macbook invaluable. Thank you for making it possible for me to provide what my students need in the classroom.”

Paper Here! Paper There! Paper Needed Everywhere!
Funded Apr 1, 2021We want to thank you again for all the paper you provided for us. It is used for one thing or another every single day and is always put to good use. Not once have we been short on paper for anything and we never have to wait on copies which surely is a time saver for everyone.
I have used the colored paper to create parent guides and rubrics and I've been able to color-code numerous assignments and projects. The students in particular are so happy to have the colored paper. Of course they love that it's bright and cheery and that they can select the color they want depending on the type of task we are doing, but they really enjoy using it to organize their materials, assignments and study guides. That is in turn an added bonus for me! Thank you again!”

Funded Dec 17, 2020Thank you for funding our project! A color printer is one of those things that most of us take for granted. We often have them in our homes and at work and have most likely had quite a few over the years but in the classroom it is a rarity.
Growing up, I was always able to print out projects and reports with colorful cover pages to be proudly turned in and displayed in class. My students don't have that. I cannot speak for the whole school but I can say for a fact that not one of the students in my classroom has a printer at home, much less a colored printer. If they want something printed they have to go to the library or have a parent do it if they happen to have access to one at work. Of course the other option is at school but full access to a working printer is not always a guarantee. Access to a color printer is a luxury.
We have used this printer for so many things. The kids are able to print out their projects, and because they are so excited to do so in color, they are experimenting with different features on their laptops. They are learning how to copy and paste pictures, print graphics, center images and writing, change the fonts, insert tables and more, all because this "novelty" has inspired creativity and caused them to take more pride in their work. And as a teacher I can provide all types of supplemental materials to be used not just at school but at home as well. I can highlight important ideas or things to remember and I can color code our charts and vocabulary. As an added bonus it also functions as a scanner and copier which is a huge time saver for me.
We all want to thank you because it has been wonderful having our Brother Color Laser printer in class. We use it every day and I've also been able to use it to help other teachers and students on my grade. Thank you for your generosity!”
