  • Building the Future: Empowering Young Engineers with Lego Kits

    Funded Oct 25, 2024

We are incredibly grateful for your generous donation to our middle school STEM engineering class. Thanks to your support, we were able to purchase a set of Lego kits that have made an immeasurable impact on our students. The hands-on nature of the kits has allowed them to explore important engineering concepts, develop problem-solving skills, and learn the value of teamwork. Each class session has sparked creativity and enthusiasm as the students engage in building, designing, and troubleshooting their own structures and machines.

Not only have the Lego kits enhanced the students' understanding of engineering principles, but they have also made learning an enjoyable and exciting experience. The kits have provided a unique opportunity for the students to apply what they've learned in a fun, interactive way, fostering a love for learning that extends far beyond the classroom. Your contribution has made all of this possible, and we can't thank you enough for investing in the future of these young engineers. The joy and excitement in their faces as they complete each project is a testament to the success of this initiative, and we are thrilled to continue this journey thanks to your support.”

  • Room Revamp for a Post Covid Classroom!

    Funded May 4, 2021

After the past two years of being displaced at home or in alternative classrooms due to social distancing it was amazing to come back to my classroom! What made it even better was having a slew of new, motivating and engaging decorations for both inside and outside the room.

With your donations I was able to buy new durable bulletin board backing paper, vinyl stickers, New Posters and more. It gave my room a new modern and sleek look which my students definitely appreciate. The best part is it is going to be reusable and I will be able to add additional every year!

    Funded May 4, 2021

The Impact that this project has had one my students is immeasurable. We were able to utilize new resources and fun interactive activities which were able to bring our classroom experience to the next level.

The resources I was able to procure with the funding you provided were great and I truly thank you! My students eyes lit up as we played games, did interactive stations and had google activities. While I am able to create some myself, it is not my strong suit and being able to get some fantastic activities from great creators was a big boost for my confidence and my students!

Thank you again for you generous donations!”

  • Engaging Remote Learning for Special Students!

    Funded Jan 1, 2021

Getting this IPAD has completely changed my outlook for lesson and how I am planning. The past year going to remote schooling, then some students returning to live instruction and going back and forth has been very difficult for students, families and teachers alike.

The IPAD has come in key for remote learning, I have been able to utilize my laptop screen to show elements for my lessons and then if I need to annotate or show an alternate problem I am able to utilize the IPAD as a notepad and show my students as I am writing or I am able to share a math application immediately. My students have appreciated me not attempting to draw numbers with my mousepad or mouse and having the ipad has made it much more legible and we are able to share different information.

Now that we are in person, I have paired the IPAD with my Promethean Board utilizing my apple tv from home. I am able to show live mistakes directly from a students paper, able to directly project-instant feedback or instruction from anywhere in the classroom not having to be at the physical board in front of the classroom. Due to COVID i have also allowed my students to utilize the IPAD to write on the board remotely while remaining in their seats, and obviously disinfecting in between students. The IPAD has changed the way I teach for the better and I cannot thank you enough.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Schloss
