Students will be able to keep their hands and feet busy during classroom instruction. This will help increase engagement and comprehension of standards. These items are going to be very helpful in our classroom where the curriculum is online. The students are on their computer following along with the interactive lesson. This can get hard for a student to do, especially in a pandemic type learning style. The students have to sit in the same seats every day with little movement. This is a 6th grade class, so it is their first year without recess. The wobble seats and bands will give them opportunities to get their energy out with out being disruptive. They will also help students stay awake when they come to school in the morning. These specific fidgets also help students with special needs such as ADHD, ADD, and autism.
