This technology offers endless possibilities of creating visual supports, providing alternative communication and the ability to adapt resources. This will allow my students more opportunities for participation within the classroom as well as more practice of a new skill. Also, it will given my student's access to engaging and interactive communication with teachers, friends and family. Creation of visual schedules will help manage behaviors and allow practice of independence. Visual schedules enhance receptive language and assist in providing meaning to students. Visual schedules also help my students become independent of adult prompts and cues. This is an important tool in reducing anxiety in students, while teaching flexibility.
