This school year, my classroom has continued to embrace the digital era. Despite the limited technology we have, my students have shown that they are tech savvy. Currently, some of my students struggle using the mousepad on their Chromebooks. In some cases, the mousepads do not work properly anymore. Most of my students do not own a headset either which can make it difficult to focus when working independently. These issues can make it difficult for my students to actively engage in their learning. Having a headset and mouse for their computer will provide each of my students with the tools they need. These past couple years have shown us the importance of technology in the 21st century. As students of the digital era, it is essential for my students to continue to develop the skills that will help them navigate the digital world. To do this, my students need appropriate tools and resources.
