Our Biotechnology program is usually a very hands on lab science class. Virtual learning has obviously made this very difficult. Once students return to hybrid in person we want to get them working individually at lab stations to learn how to use the various lab equipment tools required as part of the BASE certification. The lab stations surround the room and students pass by them in order to enter/exit the room and get to their assigned seats. These sneeze guards would allow us to put up a barrier between the end of each lab station and the pathway through the classroom to prevent any close contact from occurring while students work on their lab skills.
