Math should be more exciting, more interesting, and more engaging. Math is about failure and how we persevere in how we attempt to solve puzzles. Math should be more like recess, a time when students are completely free to play and explore. Playing brings a sense of freedom and helps students through productive struggle with math problems. Engaging in math games should be a time where kids are begging for more and can't wait until the next recess. The donations in this project will improve my students mathematical fluency and thinking.

About my class
