Thank you for the gift you have granted us. The students were excited, surprised and inspired as they received the items and the explanation as to how they received the gifts of paper and pencils. While the items may seem simple when said aloud, they are valuable tools needed when planning, editing and publishing written pieces. The class recently completed their lab reports on sinking and floating. Our scholars were excited to write down all they learned about molecules, density and buoyancy.

Your kindness has sparked generosity among our second graders in that they are much more giving amongst their peers. We explained how you, the donors shared with us and now the students make it a duty to ensure they share and swap anything from unopened breakfast items to erasers.

With our gift, we are continuing to use them to the students' abilities as young writers. They have already started a new unit in writing about characters in stories they are reading. Having the paper and pencils readily available for the students allows teaching, learning and creativity to naturally occur and flow. Thank you again for your generosity.”
