The students who comprise at our school are in a chapter of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) will be reading this book at home and participating in chapter meetings from home this year utilizing Zoom. As the Advisor to the KIS NJHS chapter I attended the opening of the National Memorial to Peace and Justice and the Legacy Museum at the end of April in 2018. Reading Just Mercy will bring my students to some of the stories that are told at EJI's two museums, the historic truth of racial injustices and to the continued racial inequality that haunts us today.
