  • Kids at Work!!!

    Funded Dec 15, 2022

I want to take this time to just share my gratitude with all of you. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to explore transportation with our new vehicles, culture with our new dress up clothes, use our thinking skills to put puzzles together and so many more things we received. We are truly grateful for your donations, the children were truly excited and eager to learn. Thank you to all who took the time and grace to provide for our little scholars. Here are some pictures of our little scholars appreciating their new class materials.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Sabillon

  • More Play for Busy Hands!

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

We want to thank you for these wonderful donations. The kids have been busy using their thinking skills to put puzzles together, and playing games to develop their counting, memory and color skills. The children were ecstatic when the toys started trickling in. Their smiles and excitement filled the room. The children immediately were dressing the dolls, feeding the babies, and taking their babies to the supermarket in the stroller like mom. They were pretending that they were making different fruit juices for visitors. The multicultural materials allowed for the children to identify with their family backgrounds.

These materials will continue to be used to help with learning about babies, different cultures, and cognitive skills.

Thank you again and hope you enjoy these snapshots of the children.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Sabillon

This classroom project was brought to life by Valhalla Foundation and one other donor.
I am teaching in class and my students will be learning remotely as well. These materials will help me create tool kits so they can use in class and at home. Also each child will have their own plastic tools that are more durable and easily be wiped down. This year has been hard on our students, and as a teacher, I strongly feel that we are in this together!! Some of our scholars have lost loved ones, and some families have lost their incomes. I want the classroom to be a safe haven where students are safe and parents don't have to worry about school supplies, or health and safety issues.
