Prek students would on a daily basis use these manipulatives such as the cubes and or dinosaurs to practice several preK standards and objectives such as numeration, sorting, measuring, helping to count letters in a word or words in a sentence. Craft supplies would be used to show what they have learned such as through a craft project or a letter of the week project. Finally, items such as clay or playdough would be used to practice their fine motor skills and to build up that hand strength to eventually grip a pencil correctly.
