Thank you so much for supporting our students at MS 353. We appreciate your kind words and your financial support. Having these supplies during this uncertain time will help us feel relief, and getting materials for the students has been difficult due to this pandemic. We will use these colored papers, pencils, pens, and journals to create and explore our creativity. The hand sanitizers/soap will allow us to stay germs free throughout the day. The shredder will get rid of sensitive documents that I have to create for students and families. Thank you for your assistance in supporting our community.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Simpson
This classroom project was brought to life by Kleenex® Brand and 6 other donors.
My children all come from different challenging circumstances including being homeless, displacement, and abuse.
While being exposed to those challenges and having special needs, it sometimes gets difficult for them to cope.
These students rely on me to make our SETSS, Technology, Math class and club a comforting, safe, and an inviting place where they can continue to learn and thrive. Providing them with tools such as books, pens, pencils, dry erase markers, and much more can help create a more comfortable space, to create conversations within the classroom of race, ethnicity, and community.
We are also requesting these materials for us to use in our writing center.
Writing will be brought to life in their pieces, allowing them to recreate and bring life to their imagination. This will help them build their sense of comfort and enhance vocabulary.
